Qwen Image Edit is an AI-powered image editing model (qwen2/image-edit) that modifies existing photos based on natural language instructions. Unlike text-to-image generators that create images from scratch, it edits your uploaded photo while preserving the original structure and subject identity.
What kinds of edits can I make?
Common edits include background replacement, color and lighting changes, style transfer (anime, watercolor, vintage), weather effects (rain, snow, sunset), object color changes, and atmosphere adjustments. Be specific in your prompt for best results — e.g. "change the blue car to red" works better than "make it look better."
How many reference images can I upload?
Up to 3 reference images per edit. The first image is the main photo to edit; additional images can supply style, objects, or poses. In your prompt, refer to them as Image 1, Image 2, and Image 3 (in upload order). Output aspect ratio follows the last uploaded image when multiple are used.
What image formats and sizes are supported?
Input: JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10MB. Prompt up to 2000 characters; negative prompt up to 500. Output: PNG or JPEG. Aspect ratios: 1:1 through 21:9. Generate 1–4 images per run.
How much does each edit cost?
Pricing is $0.03 per output megapixel (12 credits per MP on our platform). Cost depends on aspect ratio and number of images — e.g. 16:9 (~1 MP) is about 12 credits per image; generating 4 images costs roughly 48 credits. Minimum 5 credits per output image.
What does the seed parameter do?
The seed is an optional integer that controls randomness. With the same seed, prompt, and model version, you will get the same output every time. Leave it empty for a random seed on each generation.
