Atmosphere and B-roll

Generate establishing shots—weather, city streets, nature—with ambient sound when audio is enabled. Keep subjects simple so motion stays stable across the whole duration.

Product motion from a still

Start from a Flux 3 Image render, upload it to image-to-video, and describe a slow orbit or push-in. Match lighting language between still and motion prompts.

Controlled transitions

Use first-last-frame mode when you know the opening and closing compositions. Describe how the subject moves between them rather than asking for unrelated scene changes.

Flux 3 Video modes in the Pixwit workbench

Pixwit registers three Flux 3 video endpoints under one family name in the short-video form: text-to-video, image-to-video, and first-last-frame-to-video. All use the `blackforestlabs/flux-3/` prefix with the appropriate mode suffix.

Text-to-video invents motion from language alone. Image-to-video animates a single uploaded still. First-last-frame-to-video needs a start and end image so you can describe the transition between two compositions. Pick the mode that matches the material you already have.

Duration, resolution, and audio

The integration accepts integer durations from 5 through 20 seconds. Resolution options include 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p for text- and image-to-video; first-last-frame mode currently offers 720p and 1080p in the catalog.

Native audio can be toggled on or off before generation. Black Forest Labs markets joint audio-video generation for FLUX 3 Video; on Pixwit you control that switch in the form and describe sound in the prompt when audio is enabled.

Credit quotes scale with duration and resolution. Read the amount on the generate button after changing those fields—Pixwit uses the Flux 3 video rate table defined in the project configuration, not BFL’s public API dollar rates.

How to create a Flux 3 Video clip

Start small, then extend duration once motion looks stable.

  1. Confirm Flux 3 Video is selected

The dock should show a Flux 3 entry in the model list. Switch mode tabs only when your inputs match—do not attach two keyframes in text-only mode.

  2. Write time-ordered action

Describe the opening beat, main movement, and ending in order. Give the camera one clear move—track, push, orbit, or hold—instead of stacking conflicting directions.

  3. Set duration and aspect ratio

Choose enough seconds for the action to finish. Match aspect ratio to the destination feed or edit timeline.

  4. Add references when needed

For image-to-video, upload a clean still with the subject readable. For keyframe mode, supply start and end frames with similar lighting so the model can interpolate motion.

  5. Review credits and iterate

Watch for subject drift or camera jumps. Fix the line of the prompt that caused the issue before increasing duration or resolution.

Example prompt

A wooden boat glides across an alpine lake at sunrise. Slow tracking shot, gentle ripples and distant birds, no dialogue.
