How to use this image color picker
Load your image into the color picker
Drag and drop, browse your files, paste from the clipboard, or try the sample image in the tool above. The image color picker reads the file in memory — there is no cloud upload step. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, and HEIC are supported when your browser can decode them.
Hover and click to pick a color
Move your cursor over the photo to see a magnified pixel grid. Click the exact pixel you want and the image color picker locks HEX, RGB, HSL, and CMYK values in the panel. Use arrow keys for one-pixel precision, then press Enter to confirm.
Copy the color code
Each format has a one-click copy button — paste into CSS, Figma, Canva, or print specs. Recent picks stay in the sidebar so you can compare swatches from the same image color picker session without re-clicking.

Private color code finder
Your image stays on your device. This image color picker is safe for client screenshots, unreleased designs, and internal mockups where uploading to a third-party server is not an option.
Magnifier for fine edges
A zoom lens follows your cursor so you can hit antialiased text, 1px borders, and gradient stops. The image color picker samples from full-resolution pixel data, not a blurry scaled preview.
Every format at once
One click gives HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK — each with a copy button for CSS, design tools, or print handoffs. No switching tabs or converting values manually after you pick a color from an image.
Instant palette from your photo
Six dominant swatches are extracted automatically when an image loads. Click any swatch to load it into the color panel and build a matching scheme faster than sampling one pixel at a time.
